Thoese factory springs, then a shackle flip and 2.5 inch block?

Tom
those rear springs i bought brand new in 2005. and only has like 6 k miles on it thats all. they are half ton HD springs from a place near here. shackle flip and 2.5 blocks yep. this winter im planning on gettin a 2 inch lift hd springs so i can remove the blocks. and keep the rear springs for something in the future..

Oh and what size tires are thoese?

Tom
36 12.5 16.5 all R/t humvee tires are the same except for the M/T they are 37 12.5 16.5 the pattern is different aswell.. so we both have exact same tires, u have more thread than me tho. and cleaner aha..

Where you gonna get the lift springs, i need some, so id like to put em in when i do the shackle flip this winter

Plus i might be gettin a D-60 front for FREE!

im leaning toward alcan springs cause of the quality. but it cld be elsewhere. just want to make sure i get a good one, heavyduty too.. not the superflexy one. oh and my truck is missing a d60 so it might be it... ill come over as soon u get one ill pick it up ok???:haha:

These rear springs are 8" Superlifts. No one else makes any like these.

hmm 8 inch... thought it looks like a 6 could be a 6 in the front then a 8 in the back but when i looked again im not too sure anymore bcause mine shackle is good and its no problem compare to ur springs touching the frame.. get that sorted out and get heavy duty front shackles.. :eek1:

nah its 8"...look at how the tires sit in comparison to the fenders...those are 36" tires, if he only had a 6" lift they'd be snug and he's clearing them with ease...

I had those when I bought my truck. As it was explained to me, they are an old school way of dampening axel wrap. Unfortunately, its only effective in slowing the axel wrap and does little to actually stop it from happening.

Wheeled!

Well i got it all back together, and i took it wheelin out in the woods by my house... it all went well almost... i let it warm up for 20 or so min, drive down the street then go into the woods and about a couple hundred feet in smoke starts pooring out from under the hood.. i thought oh s**t, and i found out that oil is comming out from somewhere on the drivers side, near the dipstick/ oil filter, i havent really looked where yet, im goin to work, but it was fun while it lasted, but wheelin a longbed is gonna take some gettin use to
Well heres one pic
