My 89 K5 as it sits now, stock. And my 97 K1500. My wife also drives a 01 4WD Tahoe LT. Sorry the K1500 shot sucks... unlike evryone else, I can't seem to get any large billboard size pics to post.. and this is the only "small" one I had.

Thanks, man. It's very clean, inside as well. Makes me wish I would have bought a beater, to beat up. But, I was looking for something clean because I didn't want to spend a lot of time & money messing with rusted out areas. I still plan to protect it as much as possible while wheeling.. but it was bought for the trails, so I'll do what I can, but it's going into the rough. ;) :doah:

heres some of my shots

Janitor, I'd like some info on your top if possible...homebrew? What you used, how long it took you, basically a writeup if you could :p:

mikey- the top is basically a custom brew. what i did was take stainless steel L channel and bolt that where the hard top would bolt- notched and so around the top cab. the snaps go on to there, and then a boat/custom canvas place made the top- it has a top and 2 side plexiglass windows, which i dont know if i would do again, they are nice to see out of, just when it gets cold they shrink up and it doesnt fit right- so there is two sets of snaps on there. I think the canvas shop did it for around 250? i dont remember exactly. probably one of the best things ive done on it.

How do you like your mud rovers?

Those were my first set of mud tires and they didn't last very long

They are my second set. The first set lasted probably aroudn 30k which was pretty decent in my book. I am not sure about the second set as they will probably get wheeled harder.

its hard to believe how my truck evolved

After lift with 1/2 ton axles and bald 35's
http://coloradok5.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=9196&stc=1
As it sits for right now with front D60 installed and 38's(chrome diff cover and tie rod came with axle and will be gone soon I hope!). Tcase came out last night and will get rebuilt and SYE installed this weekend or nextweek and the 14bolt with disc's should also go in this weekend. I will then order front and rear shafts from high angle and then tow it to my mechanic to have some 5.13 gears and rear detroit(maybe a front as well?) installed, but that may have to wait a month or so till I have the money :doah:
