Official BB14 news

I may try to make it for the saturday and sunday part of the bash! Will need to borrow a trailer :waytogo:

Just booked the time off to come down again this year!

Now, do I bring the buggy or do I bring Penny.... Or do I bring both?

Decide which trails you'd like to run and then pick the vehicle to suit. :D

On the trials marked "easy". Do you suppose a stock burb would have a fine time?

Does this mean you'll be there?? I've heard a stock height suburban on 33s can do fins n things. I imagine you could do it, there will be plenty of rigs there to drag you out of things anyway.

I wont be able to go until BB15 :( I would go this year but im using up all my vacation time from work to go to mexico next week!

Cool! I went to Cozumel a couple years ago, it's a trip! Go snorkeling, go fishing and find a roadside taco stand if possible. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had was from nasty looking roadside kitchens in Mexico.

For the most part. I think 33s would be preferable and even just limited slip would help. Kinda depends on your definition of 'stock'.

On Fins I would be concerned about dragging ass on some of the climbs. Nojeepshere made it thru probably 1/2 to 2/3 of Fins in a stock Yukon with non-functioning 4wd. I would worry about the extra rear over-hang on a burb, tho.

Top of the World is not an issue. Flat Iron you can bypass the tricky stuff.

A lot of it is about having a well maintained rig. For example, you may not necessarily need big tires but you do need GOOD tires.

What would you guys recommend for my truck? No bashing it off rocks but not afraid to climb a few.

There was a F250 on 28 inch tall tires that ran Moab Rim with us.

Did it hit a few rocks yup, but it survived.

I've heard crack n back and fins n things are do-able in a stock rig... I've never wheeled Moab so I don't know what to expect. i'm sure my truck will be capable of more than I'm willing to try the first time.

Crack n Back no, Fins yes, Hells Revenge could be done with 33's the way out is a bit rough, but doable.

I ran Hells Revenge and Fins N Things with stock axles a 4 inch lift and 35's. In my Suburban, and got no dents.
