OFFICIAL trails for BB10

Cathy and I will be arriving on Tuesday - staying at Moab Valley. We will probably go over to Grand Junction to see a friend on Wednesday. I would like to run Fin-n-Things on Thursday. Easier trails at BFE or Poison Spider could work for Friday.

We did Stike Ravine last year. It is not the usual Moab wheeling - boulder crawling and a few ledges. The scenery is not the usual vistas. There was on low tree branch that put another crease in my roof. I was not very careful. The other trucks cleared it.

Sevenmile Rim is a great easy trail.

We will be staying until Monday, when reality dictates that we return to New Mexico.

sweet, can we tag along on fins n things? We'll be in the same cabin as last year, do you know your cabin number yet?

You bet! I look forward to seeing you and your family. Hopefully, I won't break anything like I did last year before BB started. I can't remember the cabin number, but it is at the other end of the same row as you facing east.

I'll be in Moab that whole week. If you don't mind we'd like to run Fins with you guys too. We'll be at Slickrock in one of the RV spots so we'll have to figure out where to meet up.

OK, I'm stumped. I can't figure out what to do. No Hell's on Friday and only two trails?
I know area BFE has many trails but it sounds like everyone will be there.
5 trails on Sat. makes it a tough call when you want to do more then one.
Then everyone is going to be on Behind the rock on Sunday????
That sounds like a mess. BTW, Behind the rocks full trail was tough for even my truck last year in several spots.
and all the capable trucks that were with me didn't want to attempt "white knuckle" it's gotten really extreme.
Just a FYI . Still thinking.......
This was when it was easier-

On Sunday last year we only had 5 trucks doing official trail runs and 3 doing an unofficial run on their own. Out of the registrations I have so far, the trend is not to run a Sunday trail.

Dave, I think you might have fun playing around Area BFE. I know the AZ guys are going to run Green Day trail there within the park. I think you'd like at least the first part of Hey Joe Canyon that runs on Spring Canyon Bottom, the second half is narrow with a lot of overhanging tamerisk.

Not much into Hey Joe Scott and it sounds like everyone will be at BFE but it's close to the BBQ so that's good. That's why we did Hell's on Fri. so everyone could get to the BBQ in time. I have a buddy flying in from FL. and want to get him to see a lot of Moab quick and not so much the woods. I'll see what happens and play it by ear.

From what I understand the first half of Hey Joe is supposed to have some awesome Moab type scenery.

Hes, MrK5, I think you should post up a thread with an address and/or directions to the BBQ, since your directions last year, well, shall we say, sucked... :D

Hey now, just for the record those were Google's directions. I just copied and pasted. :p: You think I actually paid attention to what it said?
