Like the first picture of the threadAll the oil was in the back of the motor so the pump was probably covered. If you’d been going downhill like that then you’d have oil problems.

Looking at that picture, Explain how it kept oil pressure the entire time. I never shut it off.
I’ve never seen you shut your rig off on the trail.
It’s not hard to keep 165 hp cool...Only at lunch. I let it run the rest of the time. That way I know I can leave the trail. So many starter and electrical issues have been seen on so many trucks. The jeep guys are always afraid the Jimmy will over heat. Never has.

I haven't really had any lack of horsepower issues except in the dunes. It's not about the amount, it is how you use it.
