Update- Still havent received a dime from him!. Told me he would mail me a check tomorrow, so if it doesnt show up this week I will just call him every hour every day to remind him

Definately! Snow is crazy here! Just got back from snow shoeing and it is easily about 6 ft up near Red Mountain. They closed it a week ago but it is open again. Hasnt been much above 20 here during the days either.

yea i am pretty sure Gunnison is the coldest area in CO, sure seems like it, they got to like -20 or something a week ago.

HOLY CHIT! Just got the mail for today and there was a check in there for me from this guy. Finally paid up! I am damn amazed! The last time I called him I had to call 14 times in a row before he actually answered, then he told me he had been unemployed for a while, I told him I didnt really care because he had no right to just take my money and spend it.

Glad to hear he finally paid you back your money. Next time use a credit card ( not a debit card) and you can dispute the charge. Then just let the CC company deal with it.

I've disputed charges using my Visa check card and the bank handled it just fine. Credited my account with the disputed amount and finally got the A-hole's attention!
Right now it is up to the issuer if they want to or not. There is more legal protection with credit card. If you're pulling out the plastic might as well get the benefit of the law.

Any competent issuing bank should help their customer get the cash back from a fraudulent sale, when a debit card was used to make a purchase. It is commonly refered to as an "Reg E claim".

My bank was willing to help me out, but they had to close my account during the investigation period and that was not an option for me at the time.
