I got my engine in and got a new oil dipstick and indicator from chevy. It fits into the hole on the engine, but its loose. It's not really bad, but it has enough rom to move around. I need to know if I should put some kind of adhesive on it or is it supposed to be a little loose.

Thanks!!

Mine was loose enough to leak a little. I cleaned the end of the tube with some Brake Kleen and added a dab of RTV then pushed it back in. I'm going to add a 'P' clamp to hold it better...but at least it doesn't leak there now.
