I have a '79 K20 with a Sm 465/205 drive train. Should the adapter connecting the two fill with tranny oil? I'm losing tranny oil into the transfer case. I was just wondering which seals I need to replace. Thanks for the time.

You need to replace the seal that is in the adapter.
