Oil in intake valley

I'm replacing the intake manifold gaskets on my 94 Blazer and I've noticed that there is oil pooling in the bottom of the valley. I need to figure out where the oil is coming from before I put the manifold back on. Any ideas??

sounds normal....not all of it will get to the drain back holes at each end of the block, or on top of the cam, some small puddles is normal.

Yes, the 5.7 V8. I understand it's pretty normal to have some oil in there. I've already reassembled the manifold. Thanks.
