So how hard is it to change the oil pan gasket while in the truck? Any tips and tricks before I get started?

Its not bad at all, just get a good gasket, make sure your pan flange isnt tweaked , and dont over tighten the bolts. Best trick I can think of is to use the little snaps that hold the pan up for you with the gasket aligned while you start the bolts. I'm getting ready to do Jen's pan gasket and trans pan gasket too.

Never heard that, mines been in at least 8 years And been off once. 74 block

Definitely the one piece felpro, well worth the money

X's 2. First one lasted 5 years and pan off and on 3x's, only reason I had to replace it was my own fault.
Oh, and it never leaked, not one drop...........ever.
