oil pressure on a 4.3L

On my 2000 s10 with the 4.3, my oil pressure moves anywhere from 40 which i thought was normal, to 60-65 even? Should it go that high?

From what I've seen, the new ones run a lot of oil pressure. I'd not worry about it.

Both my mom and sister have 4.3's in their vehicles(03 Sonoma ZR5, 02 Jimmy) and the pressure at operating temperature max's out at around 30-35PSI by the instrument panel.

I'd personally like it a bit higher but they have been this way since new and both have under 50,000KM on them.
