I have a 350 in my 83 k5. I had the oil pressure switch replaced and now it’s leaking oil when I start the engine. Is there a chance the shop didn’t tighten it enough? There are special sockets for this. Is there only one size?

It is possible. Take the old sensor to store whether you rent or buy a tool. There are at least 2 sizes.
If the oil is coming from thead area tightening might work. It is possible to over tighten and split the threaded area, and cause a leak.
If oil is coming from metal to plastic seem the part is defective, get another.

You can try tightening it with channel locks. Might not be much clearance for a socket anyway.

From the picture it looks like oil is coming out from the seam. If you can't tell, clean the area off and start it up again.
