used mspaint, small and simple.

Looks cool, I would do it. Matter of fact, I have been tempted to do the same thing. One question though. What are you going to do about reinforcing the floor when you remove the roof. I've heard the body will sag really bad when you do this. Other than that, I don't see a drawback other than having to come up with another top /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I like it. I've thought about the same thing. I hear you lose around 75 pounds of up high weight.

You'd probably have to put half that wieght back in the form of rockerboxes I'd think.... /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif Unless you wanted the 4X version of the Oscor weiner mobile....O)r paint it yellow and call it the 4binanna.... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Full roll cage tied into the header and Rock sliders like 4x4 iron as with a modification. You well a peice of 1x2 on it and slide it up the hinge side of the door frame and blind nut or weld it into the kick pannels. My 75 was so rotten the rocker boxes are gone. I don't even have a inner rocker. I built a sub frame out of 1x2 that ties into the rockslider. My truck has minimal cowel shake and it's not tied ot the windsheild. If I redo the cage and go with a pre runner dash it will be tied into the windsheild frame.

Look's really Nice! It depend's on the weather, where You live, and if You drive it in nasty condition's. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The Blazer half cab is the whole reason I got back to a Blazer. Got sick of the little Jeep and being wet and muddy al the time. Now I will have heat and a dry place to sit. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The truck will be going through "A LOT" of changes over the next month.
Things happening to the truck over the next month.
1. Install the bullet proofed TH400 with manual valve body.
2. Install 203/205(twin stick) combo with ORD Doubler(TM). /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
3. Get High Angle driveshafts made and installed.
4. Install Hydro Boost setup.
5. Install crossover setup with hydro assist.
6. Build and install roll cage with out riggers from the frame that ties the cage and rockers together, then skid plate from rocker to rocker; this should help keep the body up. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
7. Cut off the half cab and make a bikini top and full soft top.
8. Make some bumpers.
9. And a bunch of other little stuff.

Do you still have the dimensions for fender trimming? I am going to hack mine real soon and would like something to go by.

I like the convertable look and am looking to save weight too, so Mine may get hacked! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
