So I painted the burb for hubby... he doesn't know yet but since he can't get on a computer until he's home I think I'm good... I painted the rainguards black, the piece between the hood and windshield black. The painted the chevy emblem and the front grill like a charcoal/sparkly.. I also repainted the bumper.. It was a hell of a job... I didn't know there was so much rust on that bad boy!!!!! UGH! I'm so sore.

I want to know what ya'll think?? should I change anything? Add anything? I was thinking about making templates of the kids hands and stenciling them onto the back of the burb..

I'm going to put herculiner on the top of the bumper and I think I'm going to paint it. I was going to wait so Ryan could see the blue dots his son put on it for him... hahah

I'm going to sand and paint the rims once Ryan gets home and take the tires off for me...

What a night and day difference... at first I thought you just painted the bottom black part but looking at that before pic you've definitely been busy!

I like the idea of Herculiner on the top of the rear bumper and painting the rest.

No ****, got any sisters? I was lucky if I could get my wife to come out and hold the brake pedal down for me.

Looks good. Just don't let him get any ideas about chopping the top off.

Very nice! Good work! I like the handprint idea too. I think that would be cool.

Yep, good idea. Great job. Damn your a great woman. :waytogo: See how easy we are to please. Just wrench on your mans rig and get MAD props lol!

i like your work my wife and i agry putt the kid prints on it for sure but don't cover the blue dots daddy will be proud

Looks good but i would have painted the cowl white with the rest of the truck. Also remember about the herculiner being rough on the old knees when getting into and out of the truck.

...Scared me with that sparkly comment- I started looking for it...

2x all the comments above, especially the hand prints!

Wow that looks great, what colors did you use exactly I think I mite do this. My paint is falling apart.

I think I'd have the kids put on some type of rubber glove or something and have them dip their gloved hand in paint and apply it directly. That's just me. They're actual hand print would have more meaning.

Just a suggestion.
