OK I need to know what you think!!!

Wow that looks great, what colors did you use exactly I think I mite do this. My paint is falling apart.

I sanded and sanded and sanded.... the used JB WELD to fill in all the holes. then sanded some more. I used rust stopping primer and then rustolem's flat black and semi-gloss white.

I think I'd have the kids put on some type of rubber glove or something and have them dip their gloved hand in paint and apply it directly. That's just me. They're actual hand print would have more meaning.

Just a suggestion.

I thought about that.... but the problem is we have a 15mo old and a 2 year old.... all I see is a GIANT smudge.

I'm going to sand and paint the rims once Ryan gets home and take the tires off for me...

Why wait - I can be there in ten minutes !

He'll be very happy with everything you've done already - I am willing to drop the wheels and put em back up for ya -- Ryan wont know what to do once he returns - Or, you just cleared his to-do-list thats he's been thinking up while he is gone - And now he will be open season on the burb when he returns :D

Hand prints - DEFINITELY

No ****, got any sisters? I was lucky if I could get my wife to come out and hold the brake pedal down for me.

My 8 yr old daughter helps me more than the wife does...And she hates to get dirty.

Awesome work. It sounds like you really worked hard on the prep work too. It should last a long time. :waytogo:

x47 on the hand prints. Or maybe footprints? If they are that young maybe a stencil would be the way to go.

When does your hubby get back?

Looks awesome. Had my old 87 painted the same way. white with black on the bottom. I like the handprint idea too. ;)

The herculiner as previously stated will be pretty rough on the knees. I think just roughing it up and painting it lack would do the trick

He'll be happy regardless

Bet he does.

Tell him we all said welcome home and thanks.

Shhhhhh...they're busy. What do you think you'd be doing if you hadn't seen your wife or husband for a year?

Certainly not posting on the internet.:wink1:

Sublty has always been one of my best traits.
