Okay, Let's Go.

Subbed. You were right. The jk dudes on Jason's channel just don't get it. They are more of a bolt on and go crowd than a Fab it yourself from scratch crowd.

Congrats on your own channel launch.

Can't wait to see more stuff from you and footage from Blazer bash.
Yup. I didn’t spend one second longer on that channel than was required. Will prefer watching them on an actual fab channel

I like it
I like it alot
Solid movie reference
Subscribing :saweet:
I threw a subscribe in it. Look forward to more videos
Gotcha both! Thank you.

It's funny how YouTube audiences work. It's partly about the car or truck, and partly about the person delivering the content, and partly about the editing. There's a magic combination, but it's audience specific. Jason and I both learned that the hard way, but it's a valuable lesson.
24 hrs is soooo looong.....
I'm pretty excited, too.

There are three episodes just about prepping the Charger's unibody. Sparks, metal glue gun, all of it.

Great content, and the tunes were perfect to set the mood
Finally something worth watching on YouTube
Nice job
Keep it coming!

Awesome stuff Dave. Makes me want to retire tomorrow, fix my chit and just ride!
Thanks, Ray. Sounds like my dad's retirement plan - he just wants to work on his M38.
Thank you, gents.

Thanks man, and I'm glad you dig the music. I pick the key songs early in the process of constructing an episode, and build the frames to compliment the tune. Maybe that's a bit backwards.
This is a cool idea, David. You didn't say whether you wanted artistic input. But if you do, I have a thought.

If not, carry on. It's good stuff.
Hey, I'm an adult (I think), and I'm always telling folks to "join the conversation." That sure doesn't exclude you, or any of the other fine folks on CK5.
This. I wore much of the lettering off of my Willomet shirt, and it's now saved for special occasions.
I wear my shirt out and folks tell me nice truck and ask if its mine. I tell them that's what my truck wants To be when it grows up!
I get some funny looks when I'm wearing mine and hop out of the truck. "Yes, I'm a grown man who still plays with toys, and wears shirts with trucks on them. It's nice to meet you."
I was sad I didn’t see the WF t shirt booth in Moab
I missed it too
High quality shirts are a surprisingly difficult thing to produce and make much of a profit. If you outsource to one of the online digital printers, there's no guarantee as to the quality of the print or cotton, but managing it myself sucks up time and capital. I need to find a balance, and just don't have a good answer for it, yet.

Artistically, I think the harsh sounds in the first few seconds clash with the laid-back folksy soundtrack that the rest of the film uses. Either aesthetic is fine, but the combination is...mismatched. Your narration style from the other films (or that one time we met up) matched the laid-back theme, so I think that would be the better of the two. But 'indecisive' is not the right tone for a new series. At least, not this one. There's nothing mismatched about your building style, and the films should match. :waytogo:

That's my opinion, and my opinion (and tastes) are worth exactly what you paid for them.

One T-shirt and $25 per year CK5 membership fee, if you wanna get super technical about it. ;)

Thanks for the feedback, Ethan. There’s a mix of artistry and strategy to piecing these episodes together. There’s a narrative rise and fall, and that’s largely driven by my storytelling style. You’ve also got to hook viewers, because retention is the name of the game. It’s a balance.

My wife and kids got me a shirt with a picture of my 66 C20 and says "Still plays with trucks"

Great video. I liked to music and thought that it was easy to watch. Unlike a lot of stuff on YT, part way through I never wanted to move on to another video. Very well made. :thumb:

Thank you! It’s fun to make, and hopefully just as enjoyable to watch.
