Old Blue

1972 K10 Cheyenne
We found the donor truck for the swap!!
decided to get a gen 3 instead so we could get the small stuff with it.. cruise control module, all the little reservoirs etc.. it will be getting a ram d60 or aam 9.25 front axle and the aam 10.5 from this. Prob gonna keep this case as it is the floor shift model. Well put either a Detroit in back or an ARB we’ll see..

The plan is to pull the drivetrain out (292k miles) inspect it, then go from there. Based on the oil pressure being 38 at idle and 67 at 4K I think it may be pretty tight. There’s no smoke or blowby present. It has its share of issues with this age but I am shocked at how clean the trucks body is.. the interior and engine bay not so much but it’s mostly oil leaks or road grime.. expected for a truck that has this mileage! Super happy with the way it runs.. would never have guessed the mileage...

Definitely like where this is going :saweet:

This is on hold for the summer until my brother gets back. But she came back from body work with primer.
