[Old No.7]..... Interior work.

Where did you get the lights from?

The ones on my ford (1989, same bdystyle) are obviosly very faded after seeing how nice those are.

Mine are "with Chrome Trim". :thumb:

Look at my other photo's.... You can see how badly fogged over my current lights are.

I also bought some "headlight protector sheets" from the local parts store.
They're like the clear plastic sheet, that comes on new cell phone screens.

A better description would be, clear tint for your headlights. :D
Saves you LOTS of money.

My black dashmat came today!

I bought the dashmat from eBay seller "coverusafit".
I Paid $30 shipped, and let me tell ya, This thing is NICE.

They're handmade, after you order them, at a shop in SoCal.
Super high quality stitching, and a PERFECT fit.

Only time will tell how fast the color will fade.
But, it looks to be super-high quality material.

I highly recommend this ebay seller, if you're looking for a dash mat! :thumb:

It's all wide eyed with terror.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!"

I gotta say, these Eagle Eye headlights are bad-a$$.

It's the WHOLE assembly, that attaches to the core support.
The complete unit, comes with everything! (*Including the impossible to get, headlight adjuster!)
All you reuse, is the factory mounting nuts.

They also come completely assembled, and aimed.

You just unbolt the 4 bolts, from the old unit.
Then, install the new one.

5 min's a side.

The eBay grille, on the other hand.... Was a pita to install.

It didn't fit right.
I had to "manipulate" the mounting brackets w/ a hammer.
But, even then, I couldn't get it perfectly straight.

Whatever.

One side sticks out a little bit.
I can deal.

But, for $75.... I feel cheated.

Ouch. Didn't like what LMC had?

What bulbs did those Fords use?

They're the 3-prong Halogen kind.
The new ones came w/ Sylvania Hyper-whites.

Pretty cool, if you ask me! :thumb:

...

I actually never even thought of checking LMC....
I might be purchasing one from them, and sending this one back.

I banged on the mounts w/ a hammer, and painted it black,
but they can go f^ck themselves, cuz it didn't fit in the first place.

Yeah, that sounds like ****.
I had a $26 cheapie replacement grill on my '86 K30 and the damn holes at least lined up.

See.... That's where I was the MOST pi$$ed off.
The bottom holes lined up great, but the top holes were all kinds of wrong.

I sent a message to the seller, we'll see what happens.

Good luck. I gave up on Ebay now that they barely support buyers.

I only ever use paypal, so I can ALWAYS open a buyers dispute.
Make a claim>they freeze the transaction>get yer $ back in 2 weeks.:waytogo:

I love paypal...

eBay, on the other hand...

Gave up on PayPal too. Anti-gun and the fees. Only use it for paying folks on here and usually send it as a gift.

Amazon mostly now.

Those cab lights look cool.

Nice build! Looking good so far.

So have you done any of the fueling upgrades yet? I work for an online diesel parts company. I don't have vendor status so i don't want to put the address.
