[Old No.7]..... Interior work.

Nothin beats smoked tail lights on a black truck, they look deadly:thumb:

Did my 97 Short box, thing looked wicked as well.

I had it in my head to have them tinted.
Then, yesterday, I stumbled across this stuff at VatoZone. :thumb:

Got any old 4x4Power mags in there? Woulda been 1998-2000 or so.

See if any of your local libraries have a periodicals room still and if they want them. I used to do that with mine when I lived in my home town.

The county south of mine actually has book drop off bins at the local grocery store. Every time I have a novel I've read and can't sell I just drop it off in those. They can figure out what to do with it.

Turbo.... :woot:

Ive been reading up on DIY turbo install's.
I really only need a few more parts, then, it's goin' on!!!

When I'm done, I'll have spent $600 on my whole turbo setup. (Incl. Intercooler.)
Not bad for 100 more horses. :thumb:

That's not to say that my tuned Injector Pump, Injectors, and Head Stud kit won't be over $1,000.... :haha:

So around $1,600 for the an Intercooled, Turbocharged motor;
That won't blow headgasket's at 12-14lbs. of boost.

I'm also thinking about either methanol, or propane injection,
But I'm just starting to look into that.... any tips would be helpful.

I wanna make newer trucks cry, up the hill..... :D

So do you have any close ups of the paint's texture? My buddy just sprayed some Rustoleum flat black on his motorcycle's fender and we have orange peel going on. Just a trial to see how it looks but wondering how smooth you got yours and how?

It all depends on the prep-work.

I have spot's that are perfectly flat, while others have orange peel.
My paint is NOT perfect.

The way you prevent orange peel, is by sanding the surface perfectly smooth.
Then, de-greasing, and cleaning, the hell out of it.

He just scuffed the plastic good and sprayed it on and is self admittedly NOT a master painter. Still, the coverage on it and the pitted piece of metal I used as a test piece don't look bad. Orange peely but not bad at all.
