i had a bad slice on the side wall of my tsl radial when it was almost new...it couldnt be fixed for the road,but my friends buggy beater truck could use it, he brought it to get hot patched and the guy read a code on the side and said my tire is from 1997! i guess thats why they arent as nice as i thought on the road...is this normal?

yeah i know all about old tires. I found out mine are 17 yrs old but they were brand new on the truck...
