Thinking about putting a shift kit (something like the B&M Transpak) in my TH350. It's got 130,000 miles and I'm a little worried that the improvements (I'm assuming that it raises the pressure in the tranny) might blow out the old seals and stuff. Anyone ever had any problems with this?
A side note - When changing the fluid in a TH350 (dropping the pan and letting everything drain out) how much fluid needs to be replaced? I've seen numbers ranging from 2 1/2 to 5 qts. Mine just took 6 or 7
Everytime I checked fluid level the truck was driving temp, running and in park.
