ONE BIG JIMMY "Everything In TX Is Bigger!"

Yeah I agree but you will not see it anyway
I have the full set of engine covers

When it comes to power train I am very much function over form, I don't care how ugly it is if it's making reliable torque and horsepower.

I agree!
It is proven all over the ls community that the lq4 manifold is a great manifold it's just big
I know a guy that road races a corvette and he actually uses a lq4 intake that has been modified due to the mass amount of air and torque it produces in the short run which is really helpful on the road race course that he runs on

With a modified hood of course!

Those are the factory
But I put a little tlc on them and wha la!

You know what they are off of? The trucks didn't come like that, maybe it's from a Corvette.

No it's factory that I know of
It came out of a untouched 2001 2500hd 4wd truck

That line is from a ls1, the trucks got the block off ports in the rear and fitted with this.

Interesting!!!
It was an untouched truck I know the guy that it was purchased from and it was never messed with
Man I have no clue!

Ok I looked it up and I show both and the 2001 it's like what I have maybe it different between the two 2500 types
The 2500 and the 2500hd
????? You got me
I googled 6.0 steam tube and lq4 steam tube and I came up with both

Sorry to be the guy to tell you.

But on the bright side, this allows the steam from the rear to circulate which is a good thing.

Thanks for the offer but it's buried under that ugly intake manifold now
Lol!

Oh that makes complete sense. I was just commenting on how good he had the engine looking before he bolted that monstrosity on there, I wasn't saying not to use it.
