ONE BIG JIMMY "Everything In TX Is Bigger!"

Don't make it too pretty to wheel with...it is looking good.

Thanks man!!
Yeah I didn't know about them either and had the parts on my shelf for about a year before I took my Jimmy apart and just decided to take a look to see if they would work.
They did so I was pretty excited about it.
But now that I'm going to run the Camaro manifolds and the cats it look like I might have to modify them just a bit to make it all work but I will show pics if I do.

Thanks again for the compliments!

Got the jimmy back from the paint shop yesterday!
It's all down hill from here "I hope!!"

Pics suck but it's a start.
The doors are still at the paint shop having the door locks shaved. I was not impressed by the way they looked and the clips make the locks cave in a bit and I was not having that.

Me too!
Have owned 3 Chevy trucks that color
I picked the 99 gun metal grey for this one
It has more metal flake and a deeper appearance than the 86 grey it was originally.

Thanks guys!
Now just waiting on all the trim pieces and bumpers to get back from the powder coaters
He saying mid week this week all will be ready to pick up

We also did a color match on the interior panels and had the inside of the top sprayed

The original white always aggravated me. I always thought that they needed to do a little better than white plus once it got dirty it looked like crap.

Looks great! Friend of mine had an 87 half ton this color when I was in HS but unfortunately we rolled it one night screwin off on the back roads.
