Mini spool just replaces the spiders.
As far as the gears on the 60 go I have used a spacer with absolutely no issues at all. Cheaper than a full carrier if you have to buy brand new. I believe Matt, BoondockK5 is selling a 4.56 and up carrier

im planning on running spools on both ends atm so no need.
It Sold two days ago. The 4.56 carrier.
I've wheeled with a guy that was spooled at both ends and it sucks. I'd recommend one out back as far as the budget goes but not both ends. I'd start with the rear and go from there.
