I have just recieved my D60 14bolt axles and my H1 wheels are on the way. I was looking at the front axle and it is out of a dully. the hubs are wider than a SRW truck. Can I use the hubs and not recenter my H1 wheels? Is there a different hub I can use on the rear? Any help would be great!

I'm might be wrong but I believe that H1 wheels can be used on DRW D60's without mods. That doesnt do you a whole lot of good though because your rear axle might not work with them correctly without massive spacers.

i think you can pick up a d70 rear from a dually from a junkyard fairly cheap, and you'll be good to go. that would be the cheapest route.

otherwise, you can purchase srw front d60 hubs and have your h1 rims recentered.

Is the track width wider on the Dually rear axle. For some reason I thought they were even narrower than the SRW axles.

I mesured the width of my rear and it is 63". I think I can get a different hub to make it 67". I am just not sure. I have another 14 bolt that is I think 73" but it has the wrong gears.

I could be completely wrong, but I thought you had to run a D70 rear with srw hubs to get the spacing similar to the drw front.

I just got these axles and then had to go to work, so I am just trying to get an idea of parts I will need. I have 2" spacers in the mail and I am hoping they will be enough for the rear.

i run drw60 and 70hd with 14b hubs on it and the WMS front and rear is now ~77.5", with the stock h1's it looks saweet!

the dually 14b are narrower at about 63" or so, the d70hd dually is wider about 73" or so

Cab & chassis dually = rear axle narrower than SRW

Pick up dually (OE w/ bed) = rear axle wider than SRW

Not meaning to thread hijack, but I've been considering this set up for my Blazer. One question though, will running the stock H1 rims with that amount of backspacing cause too much stress on the hubs?

Here is what you do. Take the gears from the narrow 14FF and put them in the wide 14FF. They are a direct swap. Now your gears match the front 60.

Next to make the rear match the track width of the front you can run 2" spacers on each side or you can swap on a set of SRW 14FF hubs just like you would do on a D70 rear.

But the WMS to WMS on the rear is still a good bit narrower than the front DRW spacing.

There are 2 types of 14FF dually. One is the C&C which is 63" and the other is a 2wd pickup dually that is ~72".

The WMS is narrower than a dually 60 front but only by the usual 3" overall like every other GM axle.

I have no idea, but the spring pearches had to be moved so I think it was out of a 1 ton. The width is 70". I put the axles under the blazer yeaserday and with the 2" spacer it is a perfect fit. If it was wider I would have trouble fitting down the trail. I will post pictures when the swap in complete.
