Paint your steering arm, or it will turn a nice rust color for some reason :confused: . Just be sure to cover the holes as the are precision drilled!
 
did you put some undercoating on the axle or is it just the angle of the picture? doesnt look as smooth as the previous one you posted
 
My gears and master install kit came in today. There yukon thick 4.56's. I wanted to go with 5.13's but my money tree is runnin low. Plus when the 38's wear out I'm going to get a set of 37" Toyo MTR. I really don't plan on going any bigger, since it's my DD and I drive alot in the city. Anyways, with the help of my buddy Jeremy(K5er4life) they should be installed next saturday. THen I'll finally install that D60 and the rest of my junk.

looks like the one I am buying from 78 K5(david Luker). It has a 14 bolt and I have a D60. What a wonderfull match. I am going to put 35 spline short shafts in and drive flanges(Off road only truck). Thinking about longfield u-joints, 52 in front springs, 56 inch rear springs with a flip, clocking the t-case until I decide If I want a doubler or not. It has 39.5 Iroks on it.

cool, somone is finally buying that sub. congrats. sounds like you have a big project ahead of you like me.

Well I was going to lock up the front but I'm going to leave it open for the time being. I may run a spool in the front. then add some yukons inners and outers, slugs and hydro assist. but I'll do that at a later time. I need to finish this project in less than 5 weeks.

I've ordered a few more goodies :D

custom wrap around rear bumper from BLAZEN OFFROAD
1350 u-bolt yoke from WFO with an extra set of ubolts
1310 u-ubolts (2 sets) from WFO for the Dana 60. since the D60 was missing them.


Now I need to order:
pinion gaurd from DIY4x4
milled zero rates for the front from JKW
 
Five weeks, would that be in time for BF06? You might have already mentioned it, I didn't scroll down to see.
My current R&P change is the only big job I'm messing with between now and then; so if it comes to heavy dung, holler.:D
 
oh it will be ready for blazer fest. one of the reasons I'm not putting in the front locker is cause I'm not sure what route I want to go with. And I may be skipping the clocking of the transfer case. but I've been putting that off for well over a year and half now. So I think I may just do it and get it over with already since the rig will be down anyways. The only problem is going to be the front drive shaft with the long travel shocks. I may just run a square drive shaft for the time being. thanks for the offer I'll let u know.
 
yeah, I may just wait on doing mine too. I know for sure I'm going to have my front shaft extented a couple of inches. since I'm movin the axle foward 1.5"

thanks, no not yet! but will be this coming week. I'm going to pull the 14ff tomorrow. and take it down to my buddys house on saturday to do the gears swap. then I'll slap it back under there sunday and take it for a spin. and then sometime during the week I'll slap the rest of the goodies under the sub.
