well my zero rates showed up today. I also ordered a pinion gaured from DIY and a high flow cat from summit... maybe I'll make some progress tonight.
 
made alittle progress tonight. I got the 0 rates mounted to the springs and the springs back under the rig. I ended up mounting the 0 rates 1.5" forward. tomorrow I'll drill a hole in the spring plate. and maybe get the D60 hung under the rig. I still need to get the rotors turned and pick up some brake pads for the D60.


brent, do u get hassled by the police for not running a front bumper? I don't want to hack up my perfect bumper, so I might pick up 1 from the J/Y on saturnday and hack that one up.

I have my old one at my dads if you want it, it is already trimmed(hilift not included)

Whats in the pic isn't my final set-up, but it consists of threaded rod in tube, and still keeping the swivel hoist rings.
I'd like to move the bumper(s). I have all the brackets.
One Motor CHP really looked over my front. I could tell he was right on the edge of pulling me over, would have gotten the intro "Thread fastening systems 101". I don't care to get stopped by CHP because typically you won't leave without at least eq. cit., but the two rods keep the frame stiff enough for now. Eventually I'll have a welded structure to stiffen the frame ends, act as nerf and a place for lights and tow rings, and incorporate a receiver tube in the center.
Maybe add in a fold-out wet bar, a support for a toilet seat..................:haha:

roadnotca, thanks for the info. I don't need be getting pulled over and hassled! I'll grab a bumper to hack up tomorrow.

mntman210, the carrier has a huge runout problem so were not able to set the right backlash. hopefully we'll get this situation sorted out tomorrow.

linksvu, the sub use to be a news crew suburban. I think that's were they feed the cable lines through. I'm thinkin about up hooking up a power invertor and what not in there.

Maybe a small propane heater so you can camp during cold nights in the rig...that is what I would like to do one of these days.
 
I went to junkyard and picked up a xj steering shaft. I was going to get a bunmper but they wanted an arm and leg.... Also, I picked up a new carrier and we checked if there were no major runout happing and turned out to be perfect. so tomorrow well get the gears installed :D and the 14b back under the sub.
 
thanks man! u comin out this way anytime? or I might be able to make it down before BF. I just need the front.
