I have the 2005 C5500 listed on marketplace; had a guy offer this 2004 2500 HD with a 6.0/4L80 as a trade. I don't really need another pickup but it would be more useful than the 5500. just asking if anyone has an opinion?

edit: also I didn't quite know where to put this; the garage or lounge or somewhere else. I decided to go with the most traffic

It might be easier to sell.

Trade that and sell the cap off it and then keep it for a bit then sell it

My 99 2500/6.0/4L80 went 260k+
It was a pretty good truck cept those broken manifold bolts, and the Michigan rust. It wasn't no duramax though!

I've got 2 Dodge Cummins already. he just listed it today; I may just see if he wants to sell it and buy my truck outright.

You've had that C5500 for a long time now doing nothing.

If the monetary value of that C5500 is less than what that K2500 goes for then do the trade. Even if you flip the pickup you can probably sell it a lot quicker.

Also, a bunch of the drivetrain components would be good swap parts so easily sellable.

true; my original plan to make something like this. with one on the bed and towing another one.
