Opinions on date change for BB13

We pulled my girl out of kindergarten this year for a week. I know it's only kindergarten, but the wife wasn't to impressed. The teacher loaded her up with work, and she was working on it as soon as we hit the interstate so it would be done when it was time to play in moab. I missed a week if not two every year when I was a kid. I was not the best at doing homework, but when those weeks where coming up I always stepped upped my game. A buddy whose kid is a senior this year also told me that looking back all the best family vacations where when they pulled the kids from school. Mainly due to not being tourist season. As long as the kids are doing well we will keep pulling them, and keep using it as a carrot to dangle out in front of them.

That's kind of my opinion and I was the one that didn't get taken out of school that much cause I was much like the Honey Badger and just didn't give a ****. I didn't do homework, and didn't care to. But I also got left in school more because I didn't deserve and earn the time off.

My brother got to go on hunting trips and all kinds of longer event type things since he was the golden child, I mean applied himself and did homework.:whistle:

Funny it's kind of still that way, but I do have fun.
 
It's looking like we'll move to the last weekend in September, but that's not official yet. I figure we can try if for a year and see how it works.
 
Just waiting to hear back from one more interested part. It will be know by the end of the month.
 
I'm in no mater what next year. Date change doesn't matter to me. Not worried about snow (I've pulled my share of sleds). No kids and hot or cool, it's all good.
I was there in Aug. with a black truck and no AC, so what. Less clothes on the girls is a good thing. Cool is good too, better then snow up here. Make your choice and I'll make it happen.

Hope you make it this year brother, Its just not the same without you :waytogo:
 
Im in I hope. I Loved it when it was in OCT! I LIKED it NOW! as long as Brandon and Dave and Duane, Michael and EVERYONE else can Make it I dont care when it is. A Blazer Bash with only a few folks would still be cool But not near as fun. So See you in Late Sept.
 
Working on plans now for the BB13! Hunting season will be over for me. Just got my season dates.
 
This works better for me also. Won't get to Colorado this year until August. Need time to paint the semi.
