I agree here, turn it upside down and employ a shim, too.
BTW, that bottom leaf don't look like an overload, not one from the factory that is. It looks more like any aftermarket add-a-leaf to gain about 2" lift.
I would still flip this leaf upside down anyways.
I hear what you guys are saying about the overload. What I might do it tear apart a pair of 56" spring packs and rob the overload off of them. That way I dont have this one hanging down.
I run mine upside down and the springs stop compressing when they are perfectly flat. Guess it depends on how heavy the vehicle and remaining spring rates. All you can do is try!

Pulled the overload, which turns out to be a add a leaf lift, and swapped for ones from another spring pack. Pulled the additional leaf that was in there. Added 3 degree shims and the correct 60 ubolts. Oh also tossed in a BBC for more weight . It seems to sit a bit lower, is not so stiff, and the pinion angle is way better. Sorry for the ****ty pics but it was dark....
