Wasn’t sure if this is “lounge” or “garage” I picked “garage” if in error let me know.

I just ordered up some new ORD bilsteins...and a sticker because I need all the horsepower I can get and stickers are sure-fire way to achieve that.

My truck presently has an unknown but probably decades old Ranchos on it.

From ORD according to their recommendation I went with
9.24 front
11 rear.

Hopefully this is a wise purchase. Sure can’t be any sloppier than what I have now.

I can tell you that way back when, (2002ish), I pulled 2 year old Rancho adjustables off and put Bilstiens on and helped out the ride of my '70. I didn't know about ORD back then, so their knowledge should only make things better!

Anyone know the bolt size for the front and rear? So I can just get replacements? I guess I can pull one and go to the hardware store. But I’d like to have them ready to go when the shocks arrive?

Thanks.

I pulled the nuts but one is a smaller size... weird.
The top driver side is smaller but all the others at least on the rear are the same..

But yeah post the sizes it up. I’m probably just going to remove the rear shocks tomorrow anyhow...that way when ORD shows I can put them right on

They are 1/2" bolts. Tops are longer than the bottoms. Rears are 1/2" too unless it's a 1 ton.
Yes the 5125 from ord is a nice valving choice for these trucks. If you have rough country springs, good luck.

Rears tops mounts are studs bolted to frame and a bracket on drivers side,

Bilstiens come with several different size steel sleeves. Mine fit without changing.

@frankin5
Any grease (anti seize) on the bolt through shock eyelet? Or Does it all go in dry with little loctite on the bolt?

A little silicone for ease of installation. I just tighten bolt with nothing on it.

Any recommendations to replace these?
I see ORD has a steering stabilizer that can replace the Rancho.... but the other? That connects to a Ubolt?

Maybe this?

Wow
Interesting
Never seen one like that

Yeah
Crafty fellow
I've never seen the need for more than 1
But back in the day it was popular

Ord sells a standard for $42
And a bilstien for $95
A single will work just fine
