Or run a first design circa 75 tie rod with the offset rod ends that move the tie rod down.
Believe me I wish I had found 1/2”. 1/4 or 1” was what they had so I crossed my fingers on 1/4. Always heard how bad it was for lift blocks up front and didn’t know if shims qualified as such so wanted to stay minimal.I use to run these to gain 1/2" of lift. Same as zero rates but shorter. I needed just a bit of lift to level my truck after I installed a winch.

Gotcha. Lemme see if it comes to that. Thx!When I installed mine I ran the center pin through the plate and the springs just like zero rates. Lift blocks don't give that option. That's the safety issue.
Also I'm not using these anymore and have them sitting on my shelf if you need them let me know and I can give you a better deal than what you would pay new.
Good point @Wes Harden . That's something I don't have to worry about with the ORD shackles.Another issue you may find with the springs reversed, the bigger spring will hit the frame more/harder.
I feel everything a road had to offer in this rig. Kinda thinking I may not notice it.Another issue you may find with the springs reversed, the bigger spring will hit the frame more/harder.

I swear if I gotta take these springs off again they’re just gonna get upgraded. I’ll get my clearance with arch.I don't think I'd run the springs backwards with the smaller bushing to the front though there's a reason manufacturers put a bigger bushing on the front. That part of the spring is a high wear piece, so the bigger bushing keeps it together longer. I think a small bushing will wear out faster.
I hear you and saw the same thing as I examined it closer yesterday. I think I didn’t want to notice that when I did it out of frustration. The issue that I would look into with running the springs with the large end at the shackle is that a lot of springs will wrap the 2nd leaf around the main leaf eye for the military wrap design for the fail safe. So if installed backwards, it could move more, or possibly do other things if you break the main leaf.
Just a thought.
