so here’s my problem springs in the rear are too short .
I’ve been waiting for a little over a month for these things ! I’m just super frustrated and having a hard time thinking out of the box , or maybe I’m missing something or don’t have things mounted correctly, basically looking for some input may someone has had a similar issue ?

You have to compress the spring a bit to get the bolt to line up with the shackle. Ratchet straps are your friend in this case.

@skunked has the right idea. It has been covered somewhere before. You put the 2x4 on top, then use ratchet straps to pull the spring to it. This flattens it enough to install the bolts.

Also you see why keeping the tension style shackle with custom springs is pretty sweet, cause it will go just flatter than that in rebound. Pretty awesome

you sir @Chevk587 did not search correctly .

but yes flatten them out a bit and be carfull . then hook them up and enjoy the ride .

side note : these should come with a note on this for people.

What do you mean sir ?

been covered a few times on this site .

as others said flatten the spring a bit . but doing this = lots of stored up energy so be carfull . . .

You can bolt a loop of chain around the spring so a crow bar can be inserted thru it and pry down on it to align the spring eye bolts to the shackle...

Well damn... thats not good. Never seen that happen. Were you prying on it?

That is not good, it should not happen that easy.
Contact ORD and let them tell you what should be done.
If it was an old beat up spring and this happened I would deal with it easy enough but this is a high end custom spring brand new

Not prying at all just compressing with a two by four !
