ORD Springs-how much additional stuff is required?

Driveshaft and brake lines will be fine with your current shocks. They will limit down travel. If it road fine with the 4” RC, the steering will be fine for now too. Might see a little brake dive steering action but you get used to it.

It’s not until you mess with shock mounting and length do you get full use of the springs. I’m talking any spring, not just ORD. With my HDTC 4” springs and 14” front shocks, I ended up having to buy 12” lift brake lines from ORD and working on the driveshaft. Replaced the TC springs with ORD 52s and found myself adjusting again and going to a long slip shaft.

Oh wow! I’m interested to see where mine goes. Currently I have some c3500 (I think) brakelines that are quite a bit longer than stock...we will see if they fit the bill. I do plan to take as many measurements as I can with the shocks disconnected to see what’s going on in there. I have a lift mate and a hilift (and jackstands) I can use to see how it works out

Don’t kill yourself trying to lift it. The numbers will be wrong anyway. Just wait until you can find something to drive up on like a loading ramp or find a cool forklift operator. Always lift the opposite end you are measuring. Tends to work better. So measuring the front, lift the back or drive up something in reverse.

I’ll see what I can find to drive up on. I am on an army base so there are shit tons of loading ramps. Only problem is access. I need practice with the hi lift too, so if I have to go that route I’ll keep clear of smashy smash zones. I respect heavy things.
