ORD Zero rates... Who here runs them

I'm thinking of running a set of these babies on my K5, right now it sits just a little higher in the rear, (even higher with the top off).. How much will it actually lift the front end and is it a good idea.. /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

I run them in the front of my K5. No problems yet and they have been in for about 6 months and 3-4 trails. They are a 1" lift.

Zero rates are nice because they bolt directly to the spring pack without stiffening the springs. Because they bolt directly to the spring pack you can use them in the front. I have had mine on for over a year now with no problems whatsoever. I DD my truck on 37's, and wheel it hard quite often. I recommend them. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

have em front and rear. they wont be up front much longer... but only cause of steering clearance issues and the 52" spring swap... not because of any probs with them. Good product.

I made my own 1 1/2" ones as I took out an 'add-a-leaf' out of the rear to soften the ride and lost a bit of height. They're a great idea as they are bolted into the spring pack. Made mine straight up but Stephen's can be used to offset your axle too. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I running front and rear with both axles offset 1.5 inches giving me an extra 3 inches wheelbase. No issues at all and they are a solid 1 inch lift. Alot of people keep asking me why I have a block in the front and I have to sit them down and explain the concept. /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif

Made my own on the rear and milled the angle I needed into them.

I have a few questions about running these 1. If I off set the front to 1.5" forward will i have any steering issues. 2. With both axles out 1.5" will my drive shafts still be long enough.

if you're running stock steering components, almost certainly. If you're not, we need more info on what you have to answer that question.

probably not... but again, more info is needed. amount of lift? is the drivetrain in the stock location other than the axles?
