Got a question for you transmission gurus. Had a 700R rebiult recently and it has no overdrive. Is this major parts failure or is there an easy fix for this?

700s are a pain. I own one. Throttle pressure is the key to everything. That is the slider adjustment at the carb.
Take it to your trusted tranny shop and they should be able to adjust-either be feel or with pressure gauges so everything works fine.

Did you set up the shifter on the column again when you put it back in? It's easy to get them a bit out of line and only have it in D even though it may indicated OD on the dash. Check fluid level again and set the TV cable as per instructions at www.tvmadeez.com article 101 at top of page.

Are you sure is has no OD? Maby the TC is just not locking up. Check to see if the TC lockup wires are plugged in.
