Overkillz Dune Truggy Build

And the operator said to the engineer: "looks good on paper"

With a little work it aint to bad the 2 wheel drive truck class in the torq series that run around here they seem to jump and fly just fine without the front end dropping like crazy theres even a guy out there racing a long box chevy and he won the championship 2 years ago thats the street stock class where stock everything except shocks and springs. the super stock class you can run a aftermarket upper aarm and there getting 12 inches of suspension travel out of them.

I love that class. Been watching vids on YouTube. And in AZ there is a stock truck class that runs short course stuff. I helped a friend a little with a 70 chevy and he did ok, but the fords just spanked him.

His time was all stuck, 1 , 2 inch shock and no more than 12 in of travel

I'm demanding a name change if this thread. I feel so left out :whistle:

:haha::haha::haha:

Nevar!!! Lol. Yah I guess I should.

I think we will build our own arms. Me and nate have gotten addicted to race-Dezert lately lol.

This thing is just on hold until we get all our personal rigs up and running decent.

Just for anyone that doubted my idea of the equal length control arms...

BJ Baldwin's rig seems to work just fine :whistle:

So you ever get this thing running?

Gary

It did run lol. While dumping gas down the carb :whistle:

It really just needs a proper fuel pump. But all 3 of us are busy on our own projects so its on hold. Sometime this we I think we will roll it out :thumb:
