Me and the boys are picking up an 83 k20 2wd tomorrow for $100. No engine, tranny. We got a spare 350 tbi and a 2wd tranny. Hopefully its got at least 4.10s on it. Cab and box are rusted, we will take off and scrap to get money back, friend has some paddle tires. I got a pipe bender and access to lots of 1-1/2" shd 40 pipe (dont hate it will be fine for any sand rollover). Stay tuned, it could get fun

Hoping to make it real cheap with mostly spare parts. Beat the piss out of it, then build up nice over winter should be fairly inexpensive between the 3 of us.

If your geared low with small paddles it should be good. Theres some guys up there with a 2wd trailblazer frame with a small block and stock rear tires and ive seen em climb every hill and jump the piss out of it. I think it will be fun, and i will highly doubt the "poop" pipe which is like 3/16 thick will not protect us in a roll in the sand with good bracing. Say what you will but its gonna be fun lol.

Lol good $hit. Hoping to spend maybe $300 between us to get it dune ready. Then maybe dump a little bit in over winter to make it more fun. Ike add 4wd and some better power.

vortec 062s with 2.02/1.60 with std sbc intake pattern drilled in the faces, std team G, trw pistons with like 10cc dome, 5.7 rods and cast crank. The cam only can have .500 lift or it will have valve to piston problems. I have the cam card some where. Honestly made 450hp with a holley 500cfm 2bbl.

Fock that thing. Every time we get it running something else goes to hell. Too tiny to work on. Truggy is so nice because its so open.
