I was just doing my usual "wish I had that" web browsing on truck parts and came across the company OX Off Road Products. Stuff seems legit just wondering if this was a newer company or something to stay away from. My main concern is their U-joint. It looks beefy, but who knows could be something just to look good. Here is some links I looked at:

http://www.ox-usa.com/ox/

What do y'all think?

OX has been around a while

The price is a nice change from my yukon joints, wouldn't mind trying those.

.

What he said , I believe their cable locker was their first "big" product, I remember helping a buddy put one in the front 44 of his first gen bronco back around 98-99ish, so no , they are not a new company :D

I know a couple guys running ox u joints no problems to this point

And like has been said they have been around a while

Well I like the u joint for sure, and that price ain't too bad. I'd much rather put my money into a D60 when I get one instead of buying stuff for a 10 bolt. I'm not even running 4WD right now cause I don't want to waste money and watch it break on a 10 bolt with 44's, :yikes:!!!

Well you wouldn't break u joints anymore! Just wallow out ears on shafts or break ears lol

I remember that company changing hands several times, seems like their product struggled each time.

The claim in the second link is a very bold one, honestly, I can't tell what they're talking about. They don't make it clear on their site (I didn't even see anything for a Dana 60), let alone any description of how their joints work.

the biggest advantage of the ox vs other joints is they come completely apart. So if you street drive something it can possibly allow you if you get galling on one of the caps to replace just that cap and associated parts without getting a whole new u joint.

The black piece in the center of them is how you take them apart. I have no idea how much replacement parts are but the whole idea is you can rebuild them without having to buy a whole new joint just certain parts

In the application guide they list 60hds as the rear axle in a 75-86 k30 and 75-77 k20s. How can you trust them when they don't know the words Gm corp 14 full floater?
