PA inspections

well, when you do an engine swap it is supposed to be exempt from emissions, that's how my truck is. it was a diesel and now it's gas, i have no convertors and i get an exempt sticker.

like i said its up to the inspection station to tell you what they require.some are more leniant than others.go to the older mom and pop places if possible.like i said my inspection guy will do a preinspection for 15 bucks and tell me what he will require to pass it.and also give me a quote on what his cost is to fix it.most times its not too bad and i dont have the time to do it myself,so ill let him do it,and then it is warranteed and passes and i dont have to worry about it.

If this has a sticker many should have no prob......it has new brakes and tires but....
its been inspected every year with no cats, no emissions , no rear bumper and a broken windshield. Front bumper is 36 inches and the rear is just a roll pan....Just have to go to the right place i guess.

I am so glad we do not have any emissions or safety inspections here in Northern Wisconsin. Some parts of Southern Wisconsin have the emissions requirement but that is it. I used to have to fight the emissions $hit when I lived in Vegas. That $hit sucks !!

that why you put on smaller tires for inspection.

yeah when you get pulled over and your paperwork (and sticker without the number) shows smaller tires... $140 fine each time you get pulled over.. just not worth it... I say get legal and they cant screw with ya...

that is a sweet lookin rig!!!!

there's no paper work here in Pa. that says what tire size you had on at inspection time. so the old switcheroo works fine if necessary.
