well lately ive decieded that i dont really like the original paint job on my k5 (baby blue and silver arent exactly the most toughest looking colors ever). i know that i want the majority of it to be black and maybe do something else with the top. so i messed around with ms paint and i came out with this...

how do yall like it? any other suggestions would be appreciated.
btw thats a picture of my little brother so try not to make fun of him too much :D

haha yeah the smiley face was the hardest part to make lol. the jelly beans aren't intentional. i was trying to do like an army type camo there, it just turned out looking like jelly beans like that bc i suck at using ms paint lol.

IMHO, that's too nice of a truck to **** up. Get something in worse shape to paint llike that and sell that one to someone who wants a nice K5.

i like the blue and silver better... that's a good lookin truck. the bottom one looks like mine, except the top. if you like the way that looks, i'd be tickled pink to trade...

the truck would look more "tougher" after u put a 6+inch lift with some 3/4 ton axles and some swampers to fit on there.

I'm liking your currenty paint job... blue on blue :D

tougher looking paint? hmm I always thought that was more lift, swampers, and a brushguard/winchbumper and axuliary lighting :woot:

if you are spending money, put it into the drive train, a set of swampers, blac rock crawler rims will REALLY set that truck off!

no more looking for it among the cars at the mall..it will stand out:D

dont touch it!!

Man,why would you want to paint a truck that looks that good already???--if I had a nice rust free truck like that with a decent paint job on it,all I'd do is wax it!!--but all I've ever had is 20+ year old ones that have more tin, rivets, bondo and primer than anything else!--I wish I had your problems....:surepal:  :tongue1:

thats kind of an old picture, now it has 33x12.50 ssr's on it and i cant really afford any more lift or bigger axles now. i was just looking for some cheap way to improve the look of it considering im a currently unemployed kid in high school. the black part would be a flat black and i was considering painting the original rims black also but i didnt think black rims would look good on the current paint job that i have. plus the original paint job has alot more scratches on it now than it did then and i figure its probably not gonna last much longer anyways, so why not put it out of its misery.:D

Paint the rallys black or charcoal, will look good with that paint. And buff out those stratches. As long as you dont have huge paint chips (why I had to repaint my truck) you can buff it your paint real nice :D

after the drivetrain is done, sand the body down to bare metal and paint it with flat black epoxy-based primer. That always looks tough! Cheap too! :D

dont paint it until u have too.just start doin some yard work and save up for the 3/4ton rearend and discbrakes you'll thank your self later.i agree with the others on painten the rims black it'll raise you H.P.(highschool Pu**y) by 10 points and give your truck a whole new attitude. maybe even find some one with some old white steelies and do some trading and make alittle $. i bet its still a good lookin truck even with scratches. :thumb:
