paint needs to be rescude!

the paint on my jimmy is starting to fall off... as you see paint has been applied over the old paint.. is there a way to fix this without removing all paint and redoing the job?

That's actually clearcoat over your paint, it's supposed to be there. However it's not supposed to be peeling off like that. The correct fix is to sand it all down to the base and repaint. You can sand the loose clear off and feather the edges in and repaint but I have seen bad results from doing it that way.

well... i never did any painting before... seems now i have to start..

You and me both, mine is doing the same thing on the hood and fender tops.
