For a daily driver that might get smacked by a bush or 2, and will be dirty for 6 months out of the year, would it be better to do a single stage, or 2 stage paint? My understanding of paint is that single stage will dull and fade faster than 2 stage, but its easier to touchup. I'm picturing buffing it out and waxing it once a year, and touching up a scratch or 2. I'm probably gonna go with a solid color, like yellow or blue, maybe with a little metallic in it.
Its also my understanding that single stage is easier to shoot for a novice. What say the paint pro's?
