I know the standard is using a HVLP gun, but could one use an electric sprayer like a Wagner or something for just coating. The end result is simply covering the body, not looking for show quality.
I've got a motorhome that will need paint next year, but with no booth or an air compressor big enough, I thought an electric sprayer could work. But I guess they are designed for household paints where thicker is better.
you can get away with a much smaller compressor than people think, especially with the hvlp guns out... let's put it this way, i can paint the hulls of 50'er's with one of those gas, wheel-around, twin-tube tank compressors...
the right reduction certainly helps.... as slow a reducer as you can get away with... allows it to melt in if you have to wait for the comp to catch up at some point...
