Painting hands on gauges? How did you do it?

Has anyone ever re-painted the orange hands on the gauges? I was thinkking maybe using some nail polish?

I taped the face of the gauge off by running the stips under the needle and then I shot mine with aluminum spray paint.

I used model paint. White base, bright orange on top. Worked great.

yeah just mask off the gauge part and spray the needle. its pretty easy.

It is a custom recalibration that started out as a 5K.
