nope just prep, prime, and paint like the rest of the truck.

depends if you going for the factory textured look again or not. There is a step of getting the texture done correctly and then applying a different style paint than the same base coat/ clear coat the truck has. Assuming you have a base coat/ clear coat.
Any good body shop knows the technique. My uncle is a body man, he knows all that stuff. He's doing mine next year when my truck has the exterior overhaul paint job.
