Has anyone used a Panty Vac on their rig? Has anyone used them with full exhaust? I'm undecided on installing in the collectors or after the muffler, just wanted to see what other opinions were.

Thank You.

sorry

I figured this might get some interesting comments, but a Panty Vac or Pan Vac is a port welded into the exhaust with a line up to the ports in the valve covers they are used on high end dirt track cars and drag cars. To evac crankcase pressure (so you don't blow out seals) like a PCV valve but used in the other cases because the cam has to much overlap to create vacuum for a PCV valve, much of the time the car might also be running a vacuum pump if they want any vaccum operated accessories. I am a fan of not having vac line connected to my carb and because I don't want oil saturated air introduced to my intake charge. I know it isn't much for all those that want to tell me they are on production cars!!! The only thing I can't seem to get a straight answer on is most of the vehicles they are used on are race cars with either open or very close to open exhaust. ie turbo race mufflers (you can see straight through them) so I am not sure if I want to mount them in the collector (as they are normally mounted) or after the mufflers. Soooo I thought I would ask.

Thank You.
