Papa’s Truck

1990 Chevy C1500
Thoughts on going ahead and buying some flowed and matched injectors to replace what I'm certain are gummed up and bad injectors that have a 185k miles on them?

Any shops around you clean them?

Possibly. I'd have to call and see if they have the ability to do it with just the injectors and not the whole truck. InjectorRX in Houston could do it but then it's still shipping them and shipping them back.

My mom had the same response when I told her I was getting this one. I didn’t need another project or even a driveable car, I’ve got 3 as it is not counting the wife’s. Hell I told my family I was done with project cars after burning myself out on the blazer last year. But how do you pass up a family vehicle that you were present when it was purchased and it’s stayed in the family?

Some cars or trucks you just have to make an exception, put an asterix next to em...whatever.

I keep saying I'm done, have enough to satisfy my needs and wants...but if I run across the right 4 eyed Fox body I'd have to say yes. We dumbly traded my wife's 86 Mustang GT she had since new...for a Cherokee when we had the second daughter. Huge mistake, and one I'd like to make good on at some point.
