just wanted to thank everyone for there input on the parking brake warning light problem. it is still on and still annoying but everything seems to work fine....put some electrical tape over it for now. i think it must be wiring

Did you pull the wire from the Proportioning valve?

Last thing I would do is remove the dash bezel and remove the bulb from the socket.
