Parting Out 3/4 ton 4x4 1980 Suburban Soon

well i did tell avery before i bought it that they could be his, ... problem is the axles are the last thing to go off this veh as i need them on it still to roll it onto my trailer for the trip to the scrap yard. best guess is the middle of sept. having a little issue with local ordinances keeping me from working on it here which means more planning for me since it has to be done away from all my tools. on the plus side i can use a tractor instead of an engine hoist which will save a little time. my biggest problem is time!! my original intent of this post was to gauge interest and see what parts i may be stripping off this thing.

You mentioned axles, I'm asking about the entire rear end:rolleyes:

Since jp0863 mentioned the gears are 4.10 I'm definately still interested. As I mentioned mostly the complete rear end but I could go for the T-case as well. I no longer need the driveshaft or 400 to 205 adaptor.

If you are in need of a rear end to roll around on I have a 10 bolt with rims/tires to throw under there. I can come up on a weekend and help with the swap out.

I think you two are talking about the same pair of axles just using different terms... pair of axles as in complete front and rear assemblies, not axleshafts...

Oh, that's what he meant huh? Yeah, of course I was talking about the complete axles, not just the shafts. Thanks for the clear up on that.

Hey guys, we have this same setup{3/4 ton truck, 14boltff/ big 10bolt 8lug 410 gears}. Not sure what they are worth but they are located in Pismo. This is not a HIJACK LOL

No thread on the diff's, not in a hurry to sell them. I just read this thread and thought maybe some one was in need:crazy: :D .

sorry guys, i've been gone a few days. i did tell avery before i bought this suburban that if he wanted the axles, he could have first dibs. thats what i meant to say. as for the t-case, make me an offer. dont know what it's worth, but i know they arent super easy to come by either. i should be able to start on this thing in 3 weeks... i just have too much going on right now..(custody battle). if need be, i can wait til i get it stripped and list the parts i have.

Cool sounds like you guy's worked out who gets what. I had the day off so got the long bed pulled A part. We dont need the 3/4 ton stuff. I was going to give SLOK5 first shot because he is local, but he is not responding to PM's. We have room to store these diff,s but if some one needs them that works.
